RAYONG, THAILAND - Today Delta Hydraulics officially opened its Stage 2 of its manufacturing facility with the commissioning of a new 6,000 square metre facility. This facility will complement the company's existing operations in Thailand, making the total facility a 9,000 square metre facility with high-end welding, machining, assembly, painting and testing capability for hydraulic cylinders and components.
The facility is next door to Caterpillar's underground mining manufacturing plant and across the road from Caterpillars Tractors and Earthmoving division, making Delta ideally positioned to continue to build and support great products for Caterpillar but also other OEMs operating in Thailand and South East Asia.
In respect for Thai culture, Delta hydraulics constructed a Buddhist Prayer Shrine at the entrance to the facility. Managing Director, John White can be seen in the photo to right lighting a candle at the opening of the facility.
